This is my real life experience way back in 2010-11, just CAUTION to all those humble souls who go on donating part of their hard earned savings to the so called NGOs and NGO Fundraisers, who proclaim to be involved in humanitarian works. But when you accidentally check what exactly they are doing with your money, you will not just be surprised but get shocked.
Yes it so happened with me, which I had never imagined of.
In fact I call myself a victim of this so called NGO Fundraisers (www.ngofundraisers.com) from Bangalore (in Jayanagar). The Managing Director of this company has duped me with handsome amount of money, which I paid to him after seeing one of his so called humanitarian work which ultimately proved to be just an eyewash to lure public.
Yes. Being Non Resident Indian, and having seen such nice work, I decided to join my hands in such a noble work. But within two months realised that I have joined hands with a professional cheater whose only job is to play with emotions of humble humans. I contributed handsome amount of money to this professional cheater with intention to be associated with his company and expand the humanitarian works in my locality (i.e. North Karnataka). However, when I realised it was just an eyewash work, I felt bad. I thought, I could have spent that money for paying the school/college fees for the needy children.
This person name in question is Mr. V Shridhar & he proclaims to be involved in noble cause, but his real business is to play with emotions of many and he is still continuing with it with, who have donated handsome amounts but never bothered to verify whether their money is being PROPERLY utilised or not. Recently I came to know that, this person has cheated many job aspirants by collecting money with assurances of handsome monthly income for rest of their life. But after collecting the money, he has never bothered to look at them.
One can make out from the title of the company itself that it is involved in a noble cause. But real fact is something different. As NRI returnee from rural India, after having seen his eye wash works of helping underprivileged children, joined hands with his him with an intention to expand humanitarian services in my locality, however within 2 months I realised that what the real business of this person is. The real business of this person & his company is HI-TECH BEGGING & misappropriating the funds received as donation. YES IT IS A HI-TECH BEGGING RACKET IN THE SILICON CITY OF INDIA CALLED BENGALURU.
After understanding this, I informed this person of my intention to disassociate with him. In response he said.... he respects my decision & will refund my moneys, however requested to allow some time for refunding, for which I agreed. However, after 3-4 months he came up with option of returning 50%, which I did not agree. He came up with many sayings that he has spent two days with me to show his (so called) humanitarian works, and for that, he wants to deduct 50%. But, I refused & made it clear that; he cannot deduct a single penny & must refund 100%. If he does not want to, it is fine with me. I can still continue with my works though in small scale!
Later on I tried registering a complaint with Jayanagar Police Station with an intention to create awareness. PSI assured me of taking action & gave me an acknowledgement, without registering FIR. Later on when I asked for FIR copy he refused to give it, instead he said, it is a civil case & he cannot file FIR, so I had to return with empty hands. Within next few minutes I got a call from the person against whom I had complained. He said I can go on complaining to even PMO (i.e. then PM Mr. Manmohan Singh) & he knows how to manage it. He promised me that at every level he will ensure my defeat.
Having tried to bring him to books, I have realised that, under our corrupt system, it is difficult for an individual like me to punish him in accordance with law. However, by publishing about his hinous works, at least I can prevent humble souls falling into his trap & becoming his victims.

About the MD of this company
The Managing Director of this company is an MBA graduate, and based on my experience, I have no doubt in saying; this nicely talking man has done MBA in playing with people’s emotions and cheating them. Whoever meets him tells them his story of how he came into this business. Yes he proclaims to be an ex-employee of MNC where he was managing 8000+ staff and had 3 secretaries (two for office works and one for his personal works!). But after meeting Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swami of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham made him to resign from his highly paid job and start this business of HI-TECH BEGGING AND CHEATING INNOCENT PEOPLE in the name of SOCIAL WORK. In fact he proclaims that he has created Social Entrepreneurs in India! The funny thing is the person who introduced him to me is not able to show me his face.
Mode of operands’
This person was giving lucrative advertisements in the news papers and those who call him, gives them a very rosy picture of his so called his noble work and guaranteed income if one wants to associate with his company as local representative (but remember all verbally nothing in writing). Once they come to him, he shows his eye-wash works and finally makes them to pay handsome moneys to join him. After that they have no choice to forget what they have paid him.
If anyone wants to continue with his operations, will force them to invest all their savings & earnings and finally ensures that they lose everything.
He collects donation from people @ Rs. 24/- per child per day but when it comes to paying for their food, he fixes the price of food @ Rs. 6/- per child. You can imagine how much is being spent and how much is going into his pocket.
As an NRI for last two decades, I was under the impression that filing complaint with Police would help. But after filing complaint, I came to know that Local Police is hands in gloves with him. One of Policeman told me that, sir you are filing complaint & going back to abroad nothing happens. Our boss gets his share and this guy continues his robbery business as usual without any fear of law, and many innocent people continue becoming his victims without their knowledge.
